Toronto Island Retreat
The “Toronto Island Retreat”, located at 5 Third St, Wards Island, is just a few minutes stroll from the ferry boat, the beach, and the boardwalk, in the middle of the beautiful Toronto Island Park.
There are two newly built and outfitted units, “The Boathouse” and "The Cuddy". They both have private entrances and are available for rentals.
Bring your own groceries or dine at one of Wards Island’s two lovely restaurants, both within a five minute walk. The Rectory Café is located along the boardwalk and offers a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. The Wards Island Café is directly south of the ferry docks visible as you step off the boat. For restaurants and attractions on Centre Island and Hanlans, visit Toronto Island Website: http://www.toronto.ca/parks/island/index.htm
There are many things to do on the Island from lounging on the beach to stand up paddleboarding. Visit Toronto Island SUP for details.
For boat times, check out the Toronto Island ferry schedule. Make sure you take the boat to Wards Island: http://www.toronto.ca/parks/island/ferry-schedule.htm
Since there are no cars allowed on the island, luggage on wheels or knapsacks may be more suitable.
Payment: We require a 50% non-refundable deposit on booking and the balance upon arrival.
Check-in is anytime after 4pm on Friday. Check-out is 11am on Friday. If you arrive earlier, you can drop off your luggage until check-in.
